HystoEASIE Simulator
The HystoEASIE (TM) allows the realistic simulation of interventional hysteroscopy procedures by using real tissue ex-vivo organ packages. These specimens are obtained from the meat production industry and provide a realistic tactile feedback with the possibility to use commercially available urological devices.
Advantages of the HystoEASIE (TM) is that it is lightweight and compact and therefore can be shipped easily. The simulator also has improved durability due to a new design with an increased wall thickness. The rubber lip at the base of the simulator prevents movement of the tray when the hysteroscope is advanced into the specimen. Due to the shape of the simulator mold, the specimens are fixed in the correct anatomical position. The use of real tissue has the advantage of human-like realism when it comes to resecting artificial myomas in the uterus. Endosim can also simulate realistic bleeding with the use of artificial vessels sewn into the uterine wall.
